We are a family of families. We are a city of saints. We are four million Catholics strong. We are the People of God of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. We are LA Catholics.

“I think through color, you can express so much emotion. When you see color, you immediately feel a emotional reaction, an emotional response. And I think in our Catholic art, that’s something we want to communicate to the viewer.”

-Amy Rodriguez

Meet Amy Rodriguez, a digital artist from Pasadena, CA. A graduate of LMU and the Tepeyac Leadership Initiative, Amy uses her computer and her love of bright and bold colors to spread joy and the beauty of our Catholic faith.

“Maximilian Kolbe, he loved the media and used printed word. Others use the camera and I use a computer. I think it’s very exciting that as technology changes, Catholics are always finding a way to use it for the glory of God,” said Amy during the filming of her LA Catholics Story.
