World Mission Sunday is an annual global celebration within the Catholic Church, observed on the second to last Sunday of October. This special day is dedicated to the support of the missionary work of the Church through prayer and sacrifices.
On Sunday, October 22, 2023 unite with all Catholics by praying for our brothers and sisters around the world. At any Archdiocese of Los Angeles parish, prayerfully consider giving a donation for the missions. This year Pope Francis has declared “Hearts on Fire, Feet on the Move“ to be the theme for World Mission Sunday.
All the Archdiocese of Los Angeles parishes will ask parishioners to support this appeal during their Sunday masses. View the livestream from the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels here. El Domingo Mundial de las Misiones es una celebración global anual dentro de la Iglesia Católica, que se celebra el penúltimo domingo de octubre. Este día especial está dedicado a apoyar las obras misioneras de la Iglesia a través de la oración y los sacrificios.
El domingo 22 de octubre de 2023 únete a todos los católicos orando por nuestros hermanos y hermanas de todo el mundo.
