Our TK–8 Catholic school is seeking compassionate, flexible, and dependable on-call Substitute Teachers to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. We are a vibrant faith-based community dedicated to nurturing the academic, spiritual, and emotional growth of our students.
Position Overview:
Substitute teachers are vital members of our school community, providing continuity of instruction when classroom teachers are absent. We are looking to build a reliable pool of substitutes who are available for short-term and/or full-day coverage across all grade levels (TK through 8th).
Responsibilities Include:
- Implementing teacher-prepared lesson plans
- Managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Communicating effectively with students and staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Teaching credential or prior classroom experience preferred
- Commitment to working with children in a supportive, respectful, and faith-filled environment
- Fingerprinting, background check, and VIRTUS training (or willingness to complete upon hire) required

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
