Paraclete High School was founded in 1963 to provide the growing Antelope Valley region of Southern California with an opportunity for Catholic secondary education. Paraclete is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and is co-accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
We are Accepting applications for a Spanish Teacher for the 2025-2026 academic school year. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures, a commitment to academic excellence, and a dedication to the values and mission of Catholic education.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a closely related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Current state teaching certification or equivalent, or eligibility to obtain certification
- Demonstrated fluency in Spanish and a strong understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures
- Prior teaching experience at the high school level is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to academic excellence and ongoing professional growth
- Strong classroom management skills, professional demeanor, and collaborative spirit

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
