Seeking a preschool teacher who is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. They plan and implement age-appropriate activities, assess children’s development, and communicate with parents to ensure ongoing support. Requirements
Minimum requirement:
- An associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
Maximum requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field.
- Experience working with young children is desirable.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children are also necessary.
Additional requirements:
- A background check, which typically includes a criminal history check and reference checks, is required to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Preschool teachers may also be required to have specific training in areas like special education, early intervention, or specific teaching methodologies.
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
