Description
Our Lady of Grace School is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and professional Preschool Instructional Assistant for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have a lived Catholic faith and an admirable commitment to academic excellence in the pre-primary level. The position is part time and will include working alongside a talented and committed preschool teacher, and broader team of faculty and staff.
Interested candidates must be team players who are willing to collaborate with the preschool teacher to continually enhance our program and work to engage preschool students with dynamic, developmentally appropriate, and engaging lessons.
The candidate must be very well versed in the use and integration of educational technology in the daily curriculum.
Requirements
Requirements include:
- A lived Catholic faith
- Preschool teacher and/or Preschool Director certification with required Early Childhood Education credits
- A professional, positive, and engaging demeanor
- Very well versed in the use of educational technology
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in Catholic schools
- A minimum of 6 units in early childhood development; 15 units preferred
- CPR/First Aid training certificate
- A minimum of 6 months of preschool classroom experience
- Must have strong communication and classroom management skills
- Must meet all regulations set by the state licensing commission for preschool centers
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
