Description
St. Catherine Laboure School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship while upholding the mission and values of our school.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum for students in grades 2nd-8th.
- Design and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum that aligns with content standards.
- Promote teamwork, good sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field (preferred)
- Teaching credential or relevant certification (preferred)
- Previous experience teaching PE, preferably in an elementary or middle school setting
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons
- Commitment to fostering a positive and faith-filled learning environment

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
