Description
Our Lady of Guadalupe School, Rose Hill, seeks an experienced, dedicated, and dynamic junior high teacher to join our innovative teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Math to grades 5-8 while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, and working collaboratively with administration, fellow teachers, parents, and students.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school’s curriculum program.
- The candidate is responsible for planning, implementing, assessing, and analyzing data to monitor student progress and meet the needs of all learners.
- Establishing and maintaining open communication with parents, students, and fellow staff members is essential.
- Maintaining a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to student learning.
- The candidate will participate actively in school events, including fundraisers, community events, and faith-based activities.
- The candidate should exhibit enthusiasm and a faith-filled spirit that inspires and motivates students, while modeling and supporting the values and teachings of the Catholic Church.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (Teaching Credential preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in elementary education setting
- Effective classroom management skills
- Ability to input data and monitor student growth
- A practicing Catholic and knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic Church
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
