Position Summary The Institutional Advancement Coordinator is a key position within La Salle College Preparatory’s Advancement Team and serves as both a strategic and tactical partner to the Vice President of Advancement. This position is responsible for the execution of fundraising strategies and donor stewardship activities, while also playing a critical role in planning, organizing, and executing Advancement-led events that align with the school’s philanthropic priorities. The Institutional Advancement Coordinator ensures a forward-thinking, mission-aligned, and highly relational fundraising program. This role demands high levels of independent judgment, organizational skills, and confidentiality due to close collaboration with internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Donor Management
- Coordinate strategies to raise at least $1.5M annually in unrestricted operational and scholarship funds
- Support efforts to secure major capital gifts and grow endowed funds
- Drive the parent pledge program, donor segmentation, campaign planning, and execution
- Maintain and analyze key fundraising metrics such as donor growth, retention, average gift size, and cost per acquisition
- Collaborate with Enrollment Management to align advancement goals with student recruitment
Event Planning & Execution
- Serve as the lead planner and organizer for all Advancement Office events, ensuring alignment with fundraising and stewardship priorities
- Plan and execute events including:
- Annual Crystal Ball and related events
- Donor receptions
- Grandparents Day
- Registration Day and Parent Pledge initiative
- Gifts from the Heart
- Wine & Dine
- Platinum Circle Dinner
- Giving Tuesday
- Manage all event logistics, including budget, timeline, vendors, guest experience, run-of-show, and post-event follow-up
- Collaborate with school leadership, faculty, staff, and volunteers to maximize engagement and participation
Constituent Relations & Stewardship
- Oversee donor stewardship efforts that build long-term relationships and communicate impact
- Develop systems and messaging that help constituents understand how their support advances the school’s mission and Lasallian Core Principles
- Maintain an effective donor management system for tracking engagement and guiding strategic outreach
Marketing & Communications
- Ensure Advancement messaging, branding, and materials are consistent, compelling, and mission-aligned across web, print, email, and social media.
- Partner with the Communications Office to promote campaigns and events
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide high-level administrative and strategic planning support to the Vice President of Advancement
- Coordinate reporting and data analysis for internal planning and board-level updates
- Assist in strengthening the Board of Regents into an effective and engaged fundraising body

- Skilled in building relationships across diverse constituencies
- Proficient in fundraising platforms (e.g., Blackbaud, Raiser’s Edge), Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Deep understanding of philanthropic practices and ethical fundraising standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFRE preferred.
- Strong familiarity with the Raiser’s Edge donor management system is expected; candidates experienced in this platform will be prioritized
- 3+ years of experience in nonprofit advancement, fundraising, or related fields
- Proven success in planning and executing fundraising or donor events
- Familiarity with Catholic or Lasallian school environments is a plus
- Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
