Location: St. Monica Academy, Montrose, CA
Position Type: Part-Time / Seasonal
St. Monica Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School Girls Basketball Coach to lead our talented and hardworking student-athletes for the upcoming season. Our team is young, strong in fundamentals, and only graduated one senior last year, making this an exciting opportunity to build on a solid foundation.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead all practices, games, and team-related events
- Teach basketball fundamentals, skills, and strategies
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and team-oriented environment
- Support the academic and personal development of student-athletes
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration
- Ensure compliance with league, school, and CIF rules and guidelines

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior coaching or competitive playing experience (high school level or above preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to mentor, motivate, and develop student-athletes
- Must pass background check and meet any applicable Archdiocesan or CIF requirements
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
