St. Gregory the Great is a vibrant and inclusive learning community dedicated to academic excellence and the social-emotional development of every child. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team and help nurture a love of learning in our students. The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment for students in grades3-5 This role includes developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, assessing student performance, and collaborating with staff and families to support each child’s growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (required)
- CA teaching certification for elementary education (required)
- Prior teaching experience (preferred but not required)
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Passion for working with young children and fostering a love of learning
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
