Description

The Director of Admissions and Marketing, reporting to the Vice President, leads all aspects of student recruitment, enrollment, and school promotion. This individual ensures outreach programs, publications, digital content, and communications reflect the school’s mission and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the admissions and marketing strategic plan
  • Manage all facets of the admissions process including application review, interviews, placement exams, and enrollment benchmarks
  • Serve as lead user for SchoolAdmin and other admissions platforms
  • Maintain accurate records and manage admissions and marketing databases
  • Build partnerships with local schools and community organizations to support outreach
  • Oversee social media, website content, press releases, and other communication channels
  • Lead the marketing team of staff, volunteers, and students; oversee the student ambassador program
  • Maintain brand integrity; manage the school’s branding guide and budget
  • Organize school tours, high school nights, shadow days, and classroom visits
  • Prepare regular reports and participate on the Advancement Team
  • Coordinate with faculty, staff, alumni, and the broader community to strengthen school visibility
  • Uphold the Salesian, Catholic mission and values in all outreach and communication efforts
  • Represent the Catholic identity of the school in community relations

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in admissions, marketing, or sales; knowledge of marketing tools and data systems
  • Strategic thinker with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Willingness to work evenings/weekends and travel locally

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
