Description
Corpus Christi Parish is looking for a dynamic, energetic, and faith-filled candidate responsible for facilitating all aspects of the Parish Youth Ministry and Confirmation Programs.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Develop and sustain a parish-based pastoral teen ministry for middle school and high school age youth
- Develop and lead a parish-based Confirmation ministry for high school age youth
- Teach middle school Religious Education classes
- Conduct outreach to recruit parish families, youth, and volunteers
- Develop effective communication with and mutual support from youth and their parents
- Collaborate with other community and parish organizations
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be:
- Passionately Catholic, confirmed, and an active member of a Catholic parish faith community
- Experienced, takes initiative, works independently and with a team in conducting program planning, development and ongoing organization of faith-based programs
- Motivated, creative, and experienced working with and leading youth
- Excellent communicator with volunteers, parents, youth, and colleagues
- Knowledgeable about pastoral application of Church teaching and the Sacrament of Confirmation
- Proficient in use of social media and technology

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
