Description
Saint Joseph School is located in the heart of Hawthorne and has served our community for over 90 years. We are seeking an energetic after school supervisor for our after school program for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate would work in collaboration to supervise students with homework, snack, and play for a small group of students in grades TK-8. You must model Catholic teachings and values and uphold school policies.
Hours: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 2:45-6:00pm; Wed 1:30 pm – 6:00 pm
Job Duties include but not limited to:
-working with children (ages 4-14)
-encourage children to play fairly, take turns, resolve conflicts
-follow procedures and policies; take direction from supervisor
Requirements
-CPR Certified
-ADLA fingerprinted
-Virtus Certified
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
