Description
Holy Cross STEM School, a Catholic elementary school with a focus on STEM education, is seeking a dedicated and innovative English/Language Arts teacher for grades 6 through 8 for the 2025–2026 school year.
We are looking for a dynamic educator who excels in student-centered and project-based instruction aligned with academic standards. The ideal candidate fosters critical thinking, communication, and creativity in the classroom, and is committed to meeting the needs of all learners.
As a key member of our middle school team, you’ll collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, analyze student data, and develop engaging, cross-curricular learning experiences. This role plays an essential part in advancing our mission to form Active Catholics and Lifelong Learners—students equipped to thrive in college and beyond, and empowered to lead and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required); advanced degree preferred
- Valid California teaching credential or currently pursuing certification
- Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience preferred
- Proficient in integrating technology into instruction
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
