Description
Nativity School, Los Angeles is searching for a full-time 5th grade multiple subject teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and is eager to support his/her students in reaching their God-given potential. Additionally, such candidate is willing to collaborate with other faculty and staff, administration, and parents in an effort to ensure the socio-emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing and educational growth of all students.
There must also be a willingness to support Nativity School’s efforts in successfully implementing a new reading curriculum in partnership with Success for All Foundation and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles through ongoing professional development and coaching in order to meet the needs of our diverse learners. He/she must be available to start on August 1st, 2025 to ensure adequate planning for the new school year.
Finally, the ideal candidate has some knowledge of the Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports, or is willing to learn, in an effort to foster a welcoming classroom environment that is inclusive for varying learning needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- California Teaching Credential (Preferred, or willingness to complete)
- Teaching or Classroom Support Experience (Preferred)
- Practicing Catholic (Preferred)
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
