Sacred Heart is a Catholic elementary school serving a diverse community rooted in the Dominican Tradition of Prayer, Community, Academics and Service. Our educational program, permeated by Catholic teachings and values, fosters a love for learning in its students to become independent, critical, and creative thinkers.
We are seeking a full-time, 5th grade teacher to join our intermediate elementary team.

Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be fluent in Spanish. This is one of the subjects they will teach.
- Exhibit strong classroom management
- Be able to meet the needs of various learning styles and levels.
- Be knowledgeable in the integration of technology
The most competitive candidates will possess:
- MA/MS or BA Degree
- CA teaching credential, or is in the process of obtaining
- Have experience or interest in teaching the following subject areas: Religion, Social Studies, & Spanish

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
