Description
Sacred Heart School is seeking a faith filled 5th Grade teacher to join our team. This position will require a teacher to teach all core subjects and the ability to incorporate our Catholic faith throughout the curriculum.
Our new 5th Grade teacher should be:
- faith-filled, creative, flexible, organized, and energetic
- have an understanding of child development
- knowledgeable about best practices in education
- committed to being a team player
- communicate well with students, parents, teachers/staff
- participate in our parish community
- be familiar with Google Classroom

- Child Development background
- Committed to Catholic education
- Effective classroom management skills
- Proficient with educational technology
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
