“This is a moment for us to really reflect on the mystery of our redemption – the mystery of God’s love for us, Jesus carried his cross for us and he died for us. To set us free to live a new life – to live for God and for the love of our neighbors and families.”
– Archbishop Gomez

Good Friday
❤️“When Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing near, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold your son!” And then he said to the disciple, ‘Behold, your mother!’”
✝️❤️One of Jesus’ final acts on the cross is to give us his Mother as our Mother. In doing so, he places all of us under the maternal care of Mary.
As we contemplate all that Jesus has suffered for us, and all that he has won for us, may we place ourselves in the #PresenceofGod by meditating on his Passion and entrusting ourselves to Mary’s maternal care.
