Pilgrimage of Hope

To celebrate the “Pilgrims of Hope” Jubilee Year, faithful from across the Archdiocese of Los Angeles will take to the streets on a seven-mile Pilgrimage of Hope on Saturday, April 5. The walking pilgrimage will begin at 8 a.m. at All Souls Church in Alhambra to the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles. Stops along the way will include Our Lady of Guadalupe (Rose Hill) and Our Lady Help of Christians parishes.  Upon arrival at the Cathedral, Archbishop José H. Gomez will celebrate Mass. Bus transportation from the Cathedral to All Souls will be available at 1 p.m. The relics of several saints, including the soon to be canonized Bl. Carlo Acutis, will accompany us on our journey.

Para celebrar el Año Jubilar con el tema “Peregrinos de Esperanza”, fieles de la toda la Arquidiócesis de Los Ángeles saldrá a las calles en una Peregrinación de Esperanza de siete millas. La peregrinación a pie comenzará a las 8 de la mañana en la iglesia de Todas las Almas (All Souls) de Alhambra hacia la Catedral de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles en el centro de Los Ángeles con paradas en las parroquias de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe (Rose Hill) y Nuestra Señora Auxilio de los Cristianos. A su llegada a la Catedral, el Arzobispo José H. Gomez celebrará la Santa Misa. Transporte en autobús desde la Catedral hasta All Souls estará disponible a la 1pm.  Las reliquias de varios santos, entre ellos el que pronto será canonizado el Beato Carlo Acutis, nos acompañarán en nuestro viaje.
