Evelia Laurian

Evelia Laurian is the Human Resource Generalist for the Catholic Cemeteries and Mortuaries-West Region, with over 20 years of Human Resources and Operation Management experience. Evelia has been working with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles since May 2023. Evelia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix. Currently she is striving to uphold higher accomplishments and that is to obtain additional certification for HR and her Master’s in Legal Studies. Throughout Evelia’s career, her passion has been building a positive workplace culture, mitigating risk, driving business strategy, and improving organizational performance. On a separate note, outside of her profession Evelia prioritizes her overall health and spending quality time with family. As a fun fact, she loves to spend time in the outdoors by the ocean, travel, and dance to Spanish music “Cumbias or Norteña’s” with her husband.
