CEF to participate in LA Half-Marathon
Catholic Education Foundation to Participate in LA Half-Marathon to Fundraise for Catholic Schools
To fundraise for Catholic students in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, over 100 students, teachers, and supporters who are a part of the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) will be participating in the LA Half-Marathon and other races later this week.
The CEF Racing Team has previously participated in the LA Marathon for five years in a row. The LA BIG5K, Los Angeles Marathon, the LA Kids Run, and the LA Charity Half Marathons will be taking place on March 16 and 17.
The CEF Racing Team will participate in these races to help fundraise “to make a Catholic education possible for more children throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles,” according to a press release:
This school year alone, Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) granted more than 10,000 tuition awards with a $13.1 million budget to students with financial need attending 220 of the 240 archdiocesan schools.
