Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace, Los Angeles

In the ominous days following 9/11/2001, a group of Los Angeles Religious Leaders came together to seek an alternative to the fear mongering and vengefulness sweeping much of our nation. Clergy and laity from these various faiths along with community leaders continue to work together as the Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace (ICUJP) embracing the slogan “Religious Communities Must Stop Blessing War and Violence.”

ICUJP holds weekly Friday Forums, featuring guest speakers, shared reflections and action planning, at Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles. All are welcome to attend.
