“We are a Catholic Parish in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. I am the fourth Pastor of the Parish, which was founded by Msgr. Cleary, followed by Fr. Bob Gipson, Fr. Tom O’Hanlon and now me, Fr. John Higgins. We are a very diverse parish with a lot of things going on. We have a very active and successful school, a very large Religious Education and Confirmation Ministry and many other ministries, which serve the sick, the poor, young and old, as well as different cultural groups.

This is what it means to be Catholic, really, following Jesus’ command to love God with all our hearts, all our minds and all our strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. We have a lot of neighbors! Some are fellow Catholics and many are not. So our Evangelization is ongoing and is not limited to talk, but to service in love.”
