About
the parish

Nativity was established in 1923 and has been a vital part of spiritual growth of the city of El Monte. Our Religious Education Program prepares our children and adults to receive their sacraments. Our elementary school forms our students’ hearts, minds, and souls in faith, knowledge, and virtue. Our Lady of Guadalupe, Vietnamese New Year & Our Lady of Lavang, Simbang Gabi, Santo Nino Mass, and OctoberFest are just some of the diverse cultural and religious events that enrich our worshiping community. Our parish offers masses in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. We also have a Filipino community that participates actively in the life of the parish. Under the spiritual guidance of our pastor, Fr. Roberto Jaranilla Jr, Fr. Joseph KimDang Nguyen (associate priest), Sr. Stacy Reineman (principal), staff, volunteers and parishioners, we strive to embrace and reflect the values of the Gospel and to share them with those around us.
