Trinitarians of Mary

As previously announced in 2022, at the conclusion of a three-year visitation, the Apostolic See (Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life) suppressed the religious institute formerly known as the Trinitarians of Mary.  With suppression, the Trinitarians’ former members were automatically dispensed from their vows and may no longer present themselves as religious.  The Holy Father confirmed the suppression decision in 2022 at which time the suppression became final.  Under canon law, there is no right of appeal.  The Trinitarians have ceased to exist as a Catholic religious order.
