‘Simbang Gabi’ Guidelines for Archdiocese of Los Angeles
OFW Guidelines
The Office for Divine Worship has prepared the following guidelines for the Simbang Gabi, Misa de Gallo (Rooster’s Mass) or Dawn Masses. This is a nine-day novena to the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Expectant Mother of God. This novena normally begins on December 16 (or December 15, when Masses are celebrated in the evening), and culminates on the morning of December 24.
