Parish Liturgical Committee

Guidelines

OFW Guidelines

In recognizing the importance of the sacred liturgy in our life of faith, it is necessary that parishes give thoughtful care to how we celebrate and enter into the Paschal Mystery through the Mass. To help foster this, many parishes have formed liturgical committees—a team of dedicated parishioners who supports the pastor in nurturing and enriching the liturgical and sacramental life of the parish.

The Office for Divine Worship provides the following Guidelines for Parish Liturgical Committees to help ensure that the celebration of worship is marked by beauty, reverence, and the full, active participation of the parish community.
