The annual Missionary Childhood Association (MCA) Mass took place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 1p.m.
The Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Mission Office hosts the annual liturgy to celebrate the contributions by local youth to help underserved children of the world. The principal celebrant was Archbishop Jose Gomez and concelebrating the Mass was Rev. Rudy Valenzuela.

The 2024-2025 MCA fundraising efforts, which involved Catholic schools and religious education students across the tri-county Archdiocese, raised $45,851.23. Contributions by the children of MCA went to support 2,780 projects in 1,124 mission territories for the education and protection of children. Helping to build schools, orphanages and support life-saving programs.
