Description
A leader that empowers youth to live in relationship with Jesus Christ as His disciples in the world; Fosters personal and spiritual growth of each young person; Seeks to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the faith community.
Develops and directs the youth ministry program working with students, parents and volunteers. Plans events, retreats and develops the candidates in the confirmation process. The Youth Ministry team is considering either 1 full-time position or 2 part-time positions for High School and Middle School.

Requirements
- Is an active member of the Roman Catholic Church, having the knowledge and ability to share Catholic faith with youth;
- Demonstrates the capability to carry out administrative and supervisory duties in a timely fashion, utilizing good communication and relationship skills;
- Participates in ongoing formation and educational opportunities to keep current with trends in Youth Ministry;
- Is proficient with computer and A/V technologies, and Microsoft Word programs
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds in meeting job related requirements;
- This position entails frequent evening and weekend work;
- BA in Theology / Religious Education or a related educational field and/or certificate in ministry or theology from a Catholic institution of higher learning;
- Proven participation and continuing updating of the Virtus Safe Environment Program sponsored through the Archdiocese
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
