St. Malachy Catholic School is seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and faith-filled TK-Kinder teacher to join our dedicated school community. The ideal candidate will create a warm, engaging, and welcoming classroom environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of our young learners.
The ideal candidate values collaboration, strong communication with families, and a love for teaching young learner within a Catholic school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a safe, and welcoming classroom environment
- Implement current curriculum and plan lessons aligned with California standards and early childhood best practices
- Cultivate social-emotional development, independence, and positive classroom behavior
- Integrate Catholic values and faith formation into daily classroom experiences
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians
- Collaborate with all stakeholders
- Assess student growth and maintain accurate student records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, , Liberal Studies, or related field
- 1 year of teaching experience preferred
- Practicing Catholic
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
