Description
St. Malachy School is seeking a nurturing, energetic, enthusiastic, and faith-filled TK/Kinder teacher to join our dedicated school community. The ideal candidate will create and maintain a positive structured, engaging, and faith centered learning environment that supports the spiritual, academic, social, and physical growth of all students.
The ideal candidate values collaboration, strong communication with families, and a love for teaching within a Catholic school setting.
Responsibilities
- Integrate Catholic Teachings, Gospel values, and faith formation into daily school life.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Archdiocese and state standards.
- Establish and maintain effective classroom management practices that encourage respect, responsibility, and student success.
- Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents and/or guardians
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to support schoolwide initiatives, and all other events/activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
- California multiple subject credential preferred
- Practicing Catholic
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years experience.
- Available to begin work immediately
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
