Description
St. Bede the Venerable Catholic School is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled Technology Teacher to inspire students in Preschool through 8th Grade. The ideal candidate will create engaging, hands-on, age-appropriate technology lessons that foster digital literacy, creativity, critical thinking, and responsible digital citizenship while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. The Technology Teacher will collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate technology across the curriculum and provide students with meaningful experiences using current educational tools and multimedia applications in a nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Education, Computer Science, or closely related field required.
- Valid teaching credential & M.A. preferred.
- Experience teaching elementary computer education including proper typing form, use of typing software, and coding.
- Ability to identify and rectify hardware and software problems.
- Experience with video and audio editing using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Experience managing and teaching with iPads and Chromebooks.
- Willingness and ability to teach students in Preschool through 8th Grade.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to integrate technology into a variety of academic subjects.
- Commitment to supporting the mission, philosophy, and values of Catholic education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and parents.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
