Holy Spirit STEM Academy (HSSA) is building a pool of dynamic, mission-driven educators for anticipated teaching openings for the 2026–2027 school year. Positions are contingent upon enrollment and staffing needs.

Potential Openings May Include:
- Elementary (self-contained / multi-subject)
- Middle School Math (Grades 5–8)
- Middle School Science / STEM
- Other subject areas based on school needs

Position Overview
We are seeking passionate educators who are committed to delivering high-quality instruction, maintaining structured classrooms, and building meaningful relationships with students and families. Key Responsibilities
Instructional Excellence
- Plan and deliver standards-aligned lessons using school-adopted curriculum
- Use student data to drive instruction and monitor progress
- Create engaging, rigorous learning experiences across subject areas
Classroom Leadership
- Maintain well-managed classrooms with consistent routines and expectations
- Foster a safe, respectful, and academically focused environment
STEM & Innovation (as applicable)
- Integrate technology and real-world problem-solving into instruction
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with colleagues, instructional leaders, and staff
- Build strong partnerships with families and communicate regularly
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and community events
Faith in Action:
- Support and uphold the Catholic identity and mission of the school
- Model values of respect, service, inclusion, and compassion

The Essentials:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree.
- Certification: Teaching credential preferred; not required to start. Candidates must be willing to work toward a credential. Teaching and/or classroom experience preferred.
- Expertise: A deep understanding of the subject you are applying for and a passion for education.
The “Extra Mile” (Preferred):
- A practicing Catholic who can lead by example in our faith community.
- A Master’s Degree (or current enrollment in a Master’s program).

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
