Mother of Sorrows School (TK–8), a proud Daughters of Charity school serving the South Los Angeles community since 1948, is seeking a faith‑filled, mission‑driven Teacher to join our dedicated team for the 2025–2026 school year.
At MOS, our mission and vision work hand in hand: we provide an excellent, transformative education while forming students in the values that help them see the face of God in every person. Rooted in our Vincentian charism, we believe deeply in educating the whole child — academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
We are looking for a teacher who:

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Teaching credential (or in progress) preferred
- Experience in primary grades is a plus
- Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Daughters of Charity

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
