Job Title: Summer Camp Lifeguard
Hours: 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday June 16th – July 3rd 2025
Location: Notre Dame High School

Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible and attentive Lifeguard to join our summer camp team. The Lifeguard will supervise campers during swim time, ensure a safe aquatic environment, and respond to any emergencies in a calm and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor campers in and around the pool area
- Enforce pool safety rules and camp policies
- Respond quickly to emergencies and provide appropriate rescue or first aid
- Conduct safety checks of the pool and surrounding areas
- Collaborate with camp staff to ensure camper supervision
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Current Lifeguard Certification (American Red Cross or equivalent)
- CPR and First Aid Certification required
- Prior lifeguarding experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with children
- Must be punctual, reliable, and professional

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
