Description
As a member of the St. Mary’s Academy faculty, the teacher is expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to the school’s mission and vision, expressed through the Sisters of St. Joseph (CSJ) charism of service to the dear neighbor. Through engaging, data-informed instruction and the effective integration of technology, the teacher will support students in developing the organizational, creative, and critical thinking skills necessary for post-secondary success. A commitment to excellence will be evident through the creation of a supportive classroom culture, thoughtful lesson planning, and intentional curriculum design that promotes the academic growth of all students. In the tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, the teacher will also cultivate opportunities for students to deepen their spiritual awareness and grow in their faith, encouraging reflection, compassion, and a commitment to serving others.
