Description
St. Brendan School, a K-8 Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, seeks a motivated individual to join our collaborative faculty team as a Spanish teacher. The position is part-time, instructing students in grades K-8. St. Brendan is seeking someone with experience working with children who is confident and creative. Working knowledge of classroom technology is a must. A practicing Catholic candidate is preferred.
We are located in Koreatown on Third and Manhattan. St. Brendan School serves students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Our class size is an average of 33 students. Our lower grades are self-contained, and our middle school grades are departmentalized with five teachers.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field
- Prior teaching experience preferred, especially with elementary or middle school students
- Familiarity with Catholic education or willingness to support the school’s mission
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Part-time availability during regular school hours
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
