Description
Louisville is seeking a Spanish Teacher to begin in August 2026. The ideal candidate will have intermediate to advanced experience as a Spanish Instructor, as well as a strong background in Spanish language, culture, and literature.
Requirements
- B.A. in Spanish Language, Literature or comparable emphasis
- M.A./credential preferred
- Adequate experience to teach all levels of Spanish – Spanish I through AP Spanish IV to grades 9-12
- Knowledge of current trends in foreign language education; ability to collaborate with department colleagues
- Excellent classroom management, communication and organizational skills
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
