Description

Our wonderful Catholic elementary school seeks an enthusiastic Spanish teacher to teach our TK-8th grade students. We are looking for someone who is committed to excellence and would like to join our team of dedicated, wholehearted, faith-filled educators. This position is for a competent teacher who feels comfortable teaching second language acquisition across grade levels, integrating into the curriculum a combination of several methodologies, and the ability to differentiate for both beginning and more proficient Spanish-speaking students within a single class.

We seek a teacher who:
-is energetic, creative, and faith-filled.
-is knowledgeable about best practices in education.
-is familiar with Google Classroom and technology.
-is a team player and demonstrates successful collaboration with teachers/staff and parents.
-will engage in the life and community of our parish school.

Requirements

-Bachelors Degree
-VIRTUS Trained and Fingerprinted
-Prior teacher experience preferred but not required
-Committed to Catholic Education
-Proficient with educational technology
-Effective classroom management skills

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
