Description
DESCRIPTION
- The time commitment consists of evening rehearsals, typically 60-90 minutes in duration, and weekend Masses: the 7 PM Saturday Vigil and the 3 PM Sunday (except the 1st Sunday of the month). Masses are approximately one hour in duration.
- The music director must be available for Easter and Christmas masses. These masses require additional rehearsal and will typically involve a choir and other instrumentalists.
- The Spanish Choir Director is responsible for printing out the music from the provided OCP resources. He/she will provide additional sheet music.
- The Spanish Choir Director may be available for weddings, quinceañeras, and funeral services requested by the family.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sing while playing
- Ability to harmonize with the Cantor and trained choir members
- Coordination with and leadership of other instrumentalists
- Availability for weekday funerals, weekend Masses for Weddings and Quinceañeras
- Ability to sing in Spanish (for Spanish Masses, funerals, and 7 PM Saturday Vigil) & 3 PM (except 1st Sunday of the Month) Sundays

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
