Description
The Department of Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles is accepting applications for the position of Principal of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal School (OLMM). OLMM currently serves 315 students (Pre-School- 8th grade) in the city of Montebello. Together with the generous and impactful sponsorship of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, a strong community is built on communication, collaboration, and support among students, staff, and families. The unifying belief is that all children deserve a high-quality Catholic education that engages and inspires students to bring glory to God, develop relationship with Mary, live the Gospel, and serve one another in the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul. All who are called to serve at OLMM believe Christ is the ever present teacher harmoniously accompanying all stakeholders to foster the development of the whole child with emphasis on their spiritual, moral, physical and intellectual being.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledgeable and practicing Catholic with a thorough understanding of Catholic school philosophy
- Completed or is willing to complete basic catechist training
- Commitment to modeling the values of Catholic educational leadership
- Earned Master’s Degree OR California Teaching Credential
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience or 3 years working at a Non-Profit organization in leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (in addition to the minimum qualifications listed above):
- Master’s Degree in Educational Administration
- Successful Administrative Experience in a Catholic School

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
