The Notre Dame School delivers quality Catholic education to students in Santa Barbara, celebrating and serving parents in their role as primary educators. Educating for over 75 years and centering love and joy of Jesus through Mary, we use transformative educational practices that help students uncover their God-given talents, teach reverence for all of Creation, and uphold a humble commitment to serving the community while honoring the dignity of every person. We are seeking a leader who will work with the pastor to uphold our values of joy, humility, and discipleship as we continue to build a school that honors our legacy, contributes to a vibrant community, and raises Saints.
Requirements / Qualifications
Cover letter (no greater than 2 pages), answering the following questions: 1. Why do you find yourself being called to Catholic school leadership? 2. What 3 (or more) specific skills do you possess that you find qualify you for a Catholic school leadership position? Other Requirements Minimum 5 years teaching experience, at least 2 of those 5 years in Catholic ed (preferred) Earned Master’s Degree and/or California Credential (teaching and/or administrative) Preference given to candidates with Catechist certification A proven track record of success in working closely with an administrative team as well as faculty and staff Christian/Catholic ideals
