Description
Our Lady of Victory is seeking an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic primary grade teacher. Candidates must be dedicated, experienced and passionate about the content they are teaching.
Ideal candidate creates and implements engaging lesson plans, analyzes data, and monitors student progress. The candidate is able to communicate and collaborate well with administration, faculty and staff, and parents and students. Candidate will support the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Requirements
This position demands an educator who is skilled in differentiation, can clearly articulate and hold high expectations for all, and classroom management is impeccable. The qualified candidate should possess the following:
- Undergraduate degree (BA/BS) from accredited university/college in the area of Elementary Education
- A California Multiple Subjects Teaching and/or Master’s Degree or working toward a CA Credential
- Early Childhood Education Experience preferred
- Comfort and familiarity with the integration of technology into the classroom.
- Ability to input data and monitor student growth
- Create developmentally appropriate lesson plans; knowledge of Standards-based grading
- Three or more years of teaching experience
- A practicing Catholic and knowledge of the teachings of the Catholic Church

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
