Our Lady of Victory School is seeking an experienced, innovative, and enthusiastic Primary Grade Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year.
We are looking for a passionate educator who is dedicated to student growth and achievement. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a commitment to academic excellence, and a desire to inspire young learners within a faith-based community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate, standards-based lesson plans
- Align instruction with Common Core and Archdiocesan Standards
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to support student success
- Maintain consistent communication with parents and guardians
- Serve as a Catholic role model in faith and service
- Maintain high expectations and a positive, energetic classroom environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Elementary Education from an accredited college/university
- At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience
- Skilled in classroom management and lesson planning
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A practicing Catholic with knowledge of Catholic teachings
- Familiarity with standards-based grading
- California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (or currently enrolled in a credential program)
- Master’s Degree in Education (or in progress)
- Early Childhood Education experience
- Comfort with integrating educational technology in the classroom

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
