Description
The Physical Education teacher is responsible for planning and implementing P.E. classes for Preschool-8th grade, planning tasks, events and other physical activity-related assignments for students, promoting good sportsmanship and resolution skills, and health programs. The P.E. teacher also serves as the Athletic Director and helps communicate with parents about upcoming practices and games. A full description of duties will be presented to the candidate during the interview.
Requirements
*Virtus Training and Live Scan Fingerprinting
*CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
*Responsible for creating P.E. lessons implementing standards and grading accordingly
*Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
*Previous experience
*Strong Organizational and Communication Skills
*Being self-motivated, creative, and able to undertake projects under own direction.
*Effective written and spoken communication skills.
*Work with school faculty and staff.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
