Holy Spirit STEM Academy fosters academic excellence and spiritual growth in a nurturing, faith-filled environment for students in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade. Guided by our daily values — Love of God, Love of Others, and Love of Self — we are committed to helping students grow in mind, body, and spirit through engaging academic and co-curricular experiences.
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time P.E. Teacher to lead physical education classes and promote health, teamwork, and sportsmanship across all grade levels for the 2025–2026 school year.
Requirements
The successful applicant will:
1. Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate physical education lessons that promote physical fitness, coordination, and healthy habits
2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and personal growth
3. Integrate Catholic values and model our school’s mission of Love of God, Love of Others, and Love of Self
4. Collaborate with faculty and staff to support whole-child development and coordinate school-wide physical activities or events.
5. Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited university or college preferred
2. Prior experience working with elementary or middle school students preferred
3. Ability to plan and lead engaging physical education activities aligned with student needs and developmental levels
4. Commitment to Catholic education and the values of Holy Spirit STEM Academy
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
