Description
**Part-Time Cheer Coach – Mary Star of the Sea Elementary School**
Responsible for coaching and mentoring students in cheerleading fundamentals, including cheers, chants, dance routines, and basic stunts. Promotes teamwork, school spirit, discipline, confidence, and sportsmanship while ensuring a safe, positive, and supportive environment. Assists with preparing students for school events, performances, pep rallies and competition season.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and have prior cheerleading experience.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with parents and students.
- Fingerprinting, Virtus Training, TB test, & CPR certification required as well as obtaining a CYO certificate.
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
