Reports to: Parish Administrator
Incarnation Catholic Church is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for parishioners and visitors. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming parish environment while supporting the daily operations of the parish office.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Receive and process Mass intention requests
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and package deliveries
- Greet and assist visitors to the parish office
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of parish events and schedules
- Perform general clerical duties and administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Basic computer proficiency (email, data entry, word processing)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Friendly, patient, and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Prior office or receptionist experience preferred
- Familiarity with the Catholic faith and parish life preferred
Work Schedule
Mondays and Tuesdays
8:45 AM – 4:30 PM

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
