Description
St. John Eudes school in Chatsworth is seeking a full-time TK – 8th Music teacher. This position requires you to have a love of music and a wide-range of teaching styles and strategies. The right candidate will be a team player and be open to continuing with successful school music programs such as bucket drumming, teaching ukulele and the recorder. Musical skills such as playing the piano, and singing are highly preferred and leading a children’s choir and preparing music for liturgical celebrations is required.
Requirements
BA required; CA teaching credential required or in progress; MA preferred
Experience in a school-setting and working with a range of student groups
Occasional weekend or after-school duties for liturgical celebrations
Leading after-school children’s choir in weekly practices

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
