St. Gregory the Great School School, in Whittier, CA is seeking an experienced, innovative, and passionate Middle School Math teacher for grades 6-8 in addition to 7th Grade homeroom responsibilities. Must be willing to work hard to bring learning to life for our diverse learners and collaborate with a highly qualified professional learning community in an Inclusive School environment. The math teacher should have experience in planning and designing curriculum maps, teaching and designing lessons that are engaging, hands-on, inquiry-based, and integrated with technology. Additionally, will be able to effectively run small, differentiated groups, use manipulatives, and deepen student understanding through inquiry, application to real world problems, and opportunities to solve problems in multiple ways. The teacher will also work collaboratively with the middle school team of teachers and partner with parents to communicate student successes and areas of growth. As such, faculty members are passionate about what they do, the students they teach and mentor, and the school community.

The minimum requirements are:
An undergraduate degree (BA, BS) from an accredited university or college.
A California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a California Single Subject Teaching Credential, or equivalent from another state.
Full-time teaching experience.
Ability to join a professional community of educators committed to providing a challenging standards-based curriculum in an Inclusive Catholic environment of service.
Ability to use technology effectively.
