Description
Our Lady of Grace School is seeking a highly qualified, dynamic, and professional Middle School Science & K-8 STEM Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have a lived Catholic faith and an admirable commitment to academic excellence. The position is full time and will include working alongside a talented and committed team of faculty and staff.
Interested candidates must be team players who are willing to collaborate with other teachers to continually enhance our program and work to engage students with dynamic and challenging lessons and projects. The candidate must be very well versed in the use and integration of educational technology in the daily curriculum.
STEM
The K – 8 STEM curriculum and lessons will be developed around the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Lessons must be project-based and engage students in real-life, hands-on projects aligned with NGSS.
Middle School Science
The Middle School Science curriculum and lessons will be developed around the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
Requirements
- * A lived Catholic faith
- * A California credential and/or a Masters in Education (or related field)
- * A professional, positive, and engaging demeanor
- * Very well versed in the use of educational technology
- * Experience teaching Science & STEM classes
- * At least 3 years of teaching experience in Catholic schools
Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
